Sunday school teachers have been urged to embrace incarnational teaching as a vital approach to gospel ministry, drawing inspiration from 1 Corinthians 9:20–22 and Acts 17:22–23. This call was made during the Sunday School Impact Conference held at Faith Baptist Church, Mile 1, under the theme “Becoming Servants of the Gospel to Win Others.”
Delivering the keynote address, Rev. Ngwang George emphasized that while the message of Christ remains fixed and unchanging, effective ministry requires believers to step into the realities of the people they serve. He noted that understanding people’s struggles, culture, and context is essential for communicating biblical truth with clarity and relevance.
Throughout the conference, participants were reminded that teaching goes beyond the transfer of biblical knowledge; it is an act of servanthood modeled after Christ and exemplified in the ministry of Apostle Paul. Various sessions highlighted the importance of observing, listening, and connecting with learners, addressing real-life challenges while faithfully presenting the gospel.
The gathering served as both a time of spiritual renewal and a practical call to action, encouraging Sunday school teachers to adopt a more flexible, people-centered, and mission-focused approach to teaching.
