Because of poverty, we often think a gift of huge sum of money is the best gift you can receive from someone. This only because we don’t know the greatest gift ever given. A great gift is a gift given out of love, a gift that last forever, a gift that cannot perish. It is a gift that is precious to the giver. It is gift sacrificially given. Jesus fits all these categories and more, and God gave Him for us. If God could give us the greatest gift that could be given, what gift will He withhold from us? God’s children do not need to buy gifts from Him through “seeds”, “raising altars,” good works, or strange donation people are asked to make today to get God’s blessings.
Reflection
No gift can to compared to God’s gift to us.
