There is a newness that those who are in Christ experience because of the reconciling work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary. God works through Christ to make sinners new creations in Him. After the first creation, man rebelled against God and was separated from Him (Gen 3). This rebellion brought enmity between God and man, which was removed by God, bringing man to Himself through the work of Jesus Christ. It is this message of reconciliation that has been entrusted to Paul and to all believers today. You might have a peaceful relationship with the people in your family and community, and you remain relaxed when others conflict. Today, please take the message of reconciliation and seek forgiveness and reconciliation for the conflicting parties.
Reflection
When you reconcile people, you give them a bigger opportunity to share in the joy of Christ.
Prayer
Tell God your limitation in carrying this message trusting Him for grace to do better.
