When we are in the midst of trials, it can feel like our security is slipping away. However, our text assures us that God’s protection is unwavering. The psalmist reassures us that God will not allow our feet to slip. The description of God watching over us is powerful; He does not sleep or rest, ensuring that we are continuously under His care. His protection is especially needed in trials, when it feels like the ground beneath us is unstable. His watchful eye never slumbers, and He is actively guarding our steps. No matter how overwhelming our trials may seem, God’s protection is constant, and He will not let us fall. Do you feel like you are losing your footing in your trial? Take comfort in knowing that God’s protection is on your life. He will not allow you to fall, even when circumstances are tough.
Reflection
God’s protection is guaranteed in times of trial.
Prayer
Suggestion for Prayer: Thank God for His protection over your life. Ask Him to help you trust in His ability to keep you steady during times of trial. Pray for the CBC: Pray for all staff members working at the central administration of the Education Department.
