Content
Many people suffer in need because they have not taken any effort to ask for help. They feel ashamed asking, seeking or knocking (persisting) for the same thing. Our devotion encourages asking, seeking and knocking. A father can delight to give things to his children and not have something to give them. But God delights and gives because He owns everything that exists and gives them to whomever He pleases. What God expects of you is that you ask Him for what you want. If you want to be more generous, more loving, more victorious over sin, and godly, then you ought to be very prayerful. The point made through the three verbs Ask, seek and Knock is that you ought to be persistent. Ask in His will what you desire Him to do for you and He will grant it to you.

Prayer
Suggestion for prayer: Ask God to help you be persistent in asking, seeking, and knocking. Pray for the CBC: Call on God to help CBC Churches to remain faithful to the Mission and the Vision of the CBC.
