The words we speak have power. Today’s devotional is a reminder that wisdom in speech reflects integrity, and those who speak with integrity build trust and influence. Our words can either lift others or tear them down, and choosing our words wisely demonstrates our faith in God. The power of words, particularly when used with wisdom is presented in our text. A person of integrity speaks truthfully, avoiding harmful or misleading speech. The wise person uses their words to guide others and reflect the righteousness of God. What words do you speak to others? Are they words that build up or tear down? As a person of integrity, are your conversations filled with honesty, kindness, and wisdom?
Reflection
Words of integrity reflect God’s wisdom.
Prayer
Suggestion for Prayer: Ask God to help you grow in wisdom and integrity in your speech, so that your words will reflect His love and truth. Pray for the CBC: Pray for the life, ministry and family of Rev Mngo Noah, CBC Field Pastor Bum Field.
