God is a powerful deliverer and savior. None of those who put their trust in him shall be put to shame. He has the power to save those who trust him from any situation.

The Lord's arm is not a weak, feeble arm that we cannot depend on. It is the strong arm of a God mighty to save. He keeps his own in perfect peace and saves them from the miry bog. He stretches out his mighty hand and delivers his own from the deepest pits. He makes their feet rest in safety. Where he watches, no insecurity can be felt because of who he is. The God of Jacob is a mighty, impenetrable fortress whose keep no army can breach. God, our God, will always keep his own safe for the praise of his glorious grace.

If you want true lasting peace, do not put your trust in circumstances, do not put your trust in people, do not put your trust in provisions, do not put your trust in possessions, do not put your trust in piety, do not put your trust in pastors and priests. Put your trust in the LORD God, who has power over all these things and people.
