Content
How we speak about others and how we treat them is a powerful reflection of our integrity. Integrity in today’s devotional is presented as the way we treat others. Proverbs 11:12 encourages us to use our words and actions wisely. When we do so we are showing respect and esteem for others. A person of integrity do not speak ill of others. They recognize that others are also important as they are. This verse teaches us that those who have integrity will abstain from gossip, slander, or harmful speech about others. Instead, they use their words to build up and encourage. Reflect on how you speak about and to others. Do your words uplift or tear down? How do you handle situations when others speak negatively about someone?
Reflection
Integrity in how we relate to others demonstrates wisdom.
Prayer
