Purity of heart is a key theme in the Bible, and it’s something every believer is called to pursue. Paul in our text, reminds us that God calls us to live holy lives. Purity of heart involves not just our actions but our thoughts, desires, and intentions. Sexual purity starts in the heart, and we must guard it by keeping our thoughts and hearts aligned with God’s will. God has called us to live holy lives, and this includes our approach to sexuality. Our hearts must be set apart for God, and this includes having pure thoughts, desires, and intentions. To pursue purity of heart, examine your thoughts and desires regularly. Are there areas in your heart that you need to surrender to God? Ask Him to purify your mind and help you to focus on things that are pure, lovely, and honorable.

God calls us to holiness and purity of heart.
Prayer
Pray for a pure heart that reflects God’s holiness. Ask God to help you align your desires with His will and to purify your thoughts and intentions.
