God loved Israel with an unending love. Expressing this to Israel through the prophet Jeremiah was not just for knowledge sake but such that Israel will embrace this love, love Him in response and teach their generations to love Him too. The legacy of love and Christian values is a precious inheritance which should move down from one generation to the next with intentionality, shaping the hearts and minds of future ambassadors for Christ. God’s love poured into the world is the greatest legacy we should past unto the next generation. Most families inherit hatred or bitterness and pass it down to the next generation, which leaves no hope for the society. As Christian families, we should commit to transmitting the legacy of love to the next generation.
