Daily God’s children face temptations of all kinds. Sexual temptation is one of the temptation we face. This devotional is an invitation to guard against such temptation. The term "strange woman" in biblical times symbolized temptation that leads us to fulfill our desires in ways that are outside of God's intended plan for relationships. It symbolizes anything that promises satisfaction outside of marriage—such as pornography, infidelity, or immoral behavior. Wisdom, as described in Proverbs, helps us discern what is truly fulfilling and directs us towards the ways of righteousness. In today’s world, many "strange women" (or distractions) take the form of temptation through media, relationships, and even internal desires. The call for us as believers is to stay vigilant and safeguard our hearts against such temptations.

Ask God for the wisdom and strength to resist sexual temptations and distractions.
