Organizations succeed based on partnership from members who make their contributions both in kind and cash. God expects such from us. God’s primary mission is that the whole earth will be filled with His glory as people from every tribe tongue and nation come to know and worship Him. For His glorious message to reach people, others must partner financially. God’s people in our text were commanded to give but from a willing a heart. This means that, even though given is commanded, it must be done willingly. Decide what to give financially to your church and see it as you enjoying the privilege of partnering with God to advance His mission. The point is the heart from which the gift of money, time etc is coming.
Reflection
Giving for God’s work is Partnering with God.
Prayer
Suggestion for prayers: Ask for grace to partner with God in mission through given.
