Have you heard the song, “love is something you give it away and it comes right back to you?” It is the same with giving. Did you know that you save money when you give it away? Paul tells the Corinthians in v13 of our text that their giving to help a suffering church today will come back to them tomorrow when they are also needy. Givers never lack (v15). When you are generous to someone today, it becomes difficult for them not to be generous towards you tomorrow. It might even come back through others. Save for yourself and your children not by storing up money in the bank but giving in church, needy people in your community etc. commit yourself to building your account in heaven by giving.
Reflection
Save for the Future by being Generous.
Prayer
Suggestion for prayer: Depend on God to save for the future through giving.
